Microwave Factory and ZMT Zurich MedTech AG Sign Distributor Agreement
Microwave Factory Co.,Ltd (Headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan; President: Toshiyasu Tanaka; hereinafter referred to as "Microwave Factory") has signed a distributor agreement with ZMT Zurich MedTech AG (Headquarters: Zurich, Switzerland; hereinafter referred to as "ZMT"), the leading developer and manufacturer of innovative, verified and validated software and hardware solutions for targeted life science application. Focused around ZMT’s flagship product Sim4Life, Microwave Factory will begin sales and support from December 1, 2023.
Background and Overview
The medical industry continues to push the boundaries of medicine and new technologies. As such, there is an ever-growing need for simulation tools to support the design and analysis of medical devices and therapies, including virtual clinical trials, and to address scientific and technological challenges. ZMT offers Sim4Life, the most advanced computational platform which enables the simulation, analysis and prediction of complex, multifaceted, and dynamic biological interactions within the full anatomical complexity of the human body. Typical applications range from the most advanced neuro-modeling and medical application optimization to implant safety in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), among many others. ZMT also offers complementary measurement systems, e.g., for implant model generation, verification, and validation.
Microwave Factory has supplied many radiofrequency (RF) measurement system from R&D to the production phase and has a great experience in the use of simulation software tools across multiple applications. We, MWF and ZMT, are determined to provide the best possible support while having a network with the leading researchers around the globe. The new distributor agreement and associated representation of ZMT’s unique product portfolio will allow us to offer a wider range of products in the increasingly growing medical sector.

About ZMT Zurich Medtech AG
ZMT Zurich MedTech AG was founded in 2006 as a spin-off company of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich and the Foundation for Research on Information Technologies in Society (IT’IS Foundation).
